Activity details: Our goal through this project was was to help the environment by removing litter from a commonly visited public area. The location was Jan Shiff Elementary. We covered the Elementarys playground and teacher parking lot areas. We chose to cover those specific areas because they are popular places for kids and adults to visit. The playground especially had a lot of trash lying around because people tend to leave their trash behind after they are done playing and completing their outdoor activities. Type of Activity: Litter Removal (water bottles, juice boxes, cans, bottle caps, etc.)
